Unit 1 - Christina Brian Graizman

A minute after Christina had entered the room, she knew something was wrong. She looked around her and suddenly her face was covered by a scary face. "Where are my things!!??" - she screamed. All the clothes that where in her wardrobe, were gone and her bed was without the sheets. "Someone had stole my things! There was a thief here!"
Christina was a 25 years-old-girl that was studying medicine at the university. Christina lives alone in a house, but she was about to move to another house, near the university.
One day Christina woke up late so she got wear fast and she went to the university without having breakfast. When she came back, she saw that a lot of her belongings in her home had been stolen, so she innmediatelly, went to the nearest police station. "Hello miss, can I help you?" - the policeman said as soon as she arrived. "HELP ME, THERE WAS A ROBBERY IN MY HOUSE!!" - "OK, just relax. Take me to your house and I will investigate."
So they arrived at Christina's house, there was a truck in the entrance. Suddenly, Christina's mother came out from the house and she exclamied: "Hey, honey! Are you excited for this event?" - "What event?!" -Christina asked her mother. "You don't remember? Today you're moving to your new house. That's why I am here. You didn't listen the message I left yo in the phone this morning where I am saying that I will come to help you?" - "So, there wasn't a thief in the house?"- Christina asked - "No!" - her mother replied "It was me! I started putting your clothes in the truck" - "OH, mom! you scared me!"
Finally, Christina apolosize with the policeman for the misunderstanding.

Viktor Navorski is a visitor who goes to New York from a country named Krazohia, whose homeland starts in acoup d'etat while he is in the air on route to America.When he arrives to the air`prt with a passport from nowhere, he is unauthorized to enter the United States and must fend tu survive there until the acoup d'etat its over.

While he was at the terminal he maked great friends there , while the time passes he fall in loved with an stewardess that is waiting for a called for 7 years.

At the end , viktor could make his objetive and go aout with the stewardess.

Unit 15 - The terminal

The terminal is a comedy about a man who is from Krakozhia, he flyes to NY and something happens. When he gets there,they try to tell them that Krakozhia is in war, but he doesn't know english so he doesn't understand at first. But then he understands and he is in trouble,because logically he has no country, and without a country he has no visa, and without a visa he can't go to NY. Instead, he has to stay in the terminal.
After a while he starts making friends there and he meets a girl, whom he falls in love.

Unit 9 - Charity

Dear Sir:

Next month will be the football tournament in order to raise money for charity, and we would like to have Nike's sponsorship. I know it won't be cheap, but what we ar planning to do is to put Nike's logo on banners around the pitch, and in every player's shirt.
We can pay up to 1.500.00, so it won't be cheap. We can even make a deal, what the publicity wins, goes to you and we pay less.

my fovoryte place , my facorite place its Mirarmar , I like it becouse its a litle village but its very nice.I generally go in summer with friends , this year we would go with kevin , keko , gonzi and stivi.I think we would have a great time.
In the other hand Miramar its a safe village becouse of the few great people there are.But the bad things are that in summer its very hot and the see its very cold.

A minute after Christina had entered the room, she knew something was wrong. She started looking everywhere. The floor, her bedroom, under the bed, even in the fridge. "Where is my bag??" she asked herself. Then she remembered "the train station, I must have left it there!". She started running back to the train station, dodging people and cars as she came across the street.
When she got there, she saw a policeman and she asked him if he had seen her black bag. He told her that he saw a tall , blonde man picking it up, and then leaving the station. He was wearing a blue shirt. She thanked the policeman and then left the station. When she got out, she saw a tall blonde man, wearing a blue shirt. "That's him!" she though to herself as she started hitting him. "Give me back my bag!" she shouted while the man was getting hit. After a while she stopped and he gave Christina the bag, and told her that he had been looking for her to give it back, but he couldn't find her.

Mean Girls

Mean girls, at the begging looks like the typical stupid teenagers movie, but when you start watching it you realize that its really funny and entertaining .With the great actress Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron who has just returned to United States with her parents after being her entire life home schooled in Africa. She is really sweet, innocent, shy and she loves maths, but that’s about to change.

She enters to a school for the first time when she is 16,and her first day in class its terrible, but on the second day she meets Janis and Ian, two best friends that show her the school and explain her who are the “Teen Royalty”.

At first they make fun of them, and make a plan to know their secrets but, the plan goes wrong and Cady whose part was only to act as their friend, starts becoming one of them. Now she is superficial, mean and popular and she starts failing maths, just to have something to talk with Aaron, a cut guy who is Regina Georges’s boyfriend, the most popular girl in School. When Cady tells Aaron that Regina it’s cheating on him, and he breaks up with her Regina has an evil idea against Cady that produces a fight between all girls at school.

Field Hockey

Field hockey is a team sport in which a team of sixteen players of players whose objective it’s to score goals, play in grass. Hockey is played with wood sticks and the ball is hard and of plastic.

The positive points of hockey are many; one of them is that it requires a lot of team work, so you really establish great friendships with the other players. Another positive point is that you have fun a lot but at the same time you run a lot, which is why hockey it’s really good for your health.

But of course, this sport has got some negative points. As to play hockey you need a stick and a lot of protection, the equipment to play it, can cost a lot, for example :In Argentina, a good stick costs you at least $150-$200.Altought I love hockey, I have to admit that it’s a very dangerous sport, the sticks are really hard and you can hurt people while you are trying to hit the ball, that its also very dangerous because in many moves you have to raise the ball, and it may hit somebody. That is why you have to use a mouth guard and shin pads.

In my opinion hockey it’s a great sport, it helps you to keep healthy, and its really entreating also to watch, but if you want to play it you have to be aware that the possibilities of being injured are high.

My favourite place

There are lots of places I like: San bernardo, Villa Crespo, and a lot more. But my favourite place is a really special one. My bedroom.
My bedroom is like others, I have posters, CD’s, a TV, books, a guitar and things like that. It is all untidied and I keep things under the bed.
My bedroom is special because it is the place where I can think, listen to music, sleep, play the guitar, be with my friends, or even disconnect myself of everything and be alone when I want to.

A misunderstanding

The other day a friend called me on the phone. He asked me to go out on the weekend, and suddenly the phone rang. I picked it up and said “hold on a moment, I am at the other phone” but both started talking at the same time. On one side my friend asked me to go out, but on the other my mum said “can I talk to you?” so I said “no, hold on” and my friend said “what do you mean no?” and my mum said “who are you talking to?”. I said “to a friend, mum” and my friend said “I can’t understand anything!” “me neither!” I said. My mum asked me what was going on and I told her “nothing. Can I call you later?” and my friend said “yes but are we going out then???” and my mum asked me “is someone there?” “NO!” I shouted. Then my friend told me “ok! But don’t shout at me!”. I was so tired that I shouted “SHUT UP!”
My friend insulted me and then hang up. I told my mom to call later and then called my friend.
“Hey, uuh, listen, I’m sorry about shouting, but I wasn’t shouting at you, my mum was on the other phone and I couldn’t understand anything” and my friend told me “It’s ok” so I finished talking and I went to my room and fell asleep.

Pop stars can be great. They make good music, and make people have fun. But how do you imagine them to be politicians?
This can be good, because they have a point of view that may be good, they can try to help and they sometimes do it.
But on the other hand, they generally don’t know anything about politics, and the can make a total mess.
In my opinion they shouldn’t become political because I think they wouldn’t make as much good things as bad things.

What will happen 50 years from now? Will the world be a living chaos? Or will it be a place people will love?
One of the things that most worry me is the war. All the countries think about themselves, not about others. Maybe there is a World War 3. Who knows? Maybe there will be peace and people will love this planet.
In my opinion, people will love planet earth. Maybe there are conflicts, but maybe people look at themselves and say “What are we doing?” and everything stops.

Dave Grohl(David Eric Grohl) is a rock musician, singer and songwriter. He is actually in an INCREDIBLE band called Foo Fighters.
When Dave was a young child, his family relocated from Warren, Ohio, to Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. Three years later, his parents divorced, and Dave grew up living with his mother.
At the age of twelve, Dave began learning to play the guitar. He played in bands with friends.
While in high school, Grohl played in several local bands, including a stint on guitar in a band called Freak Baby. While playing in Freak Baby, Grohl had been teaching himself to play drums by banging on various items in his bedroom. When Freak Baby kicked out its bass player, Grohl decided to switch to drums, and the new band called themselves Mission Impossible. During his developing years as a drummer, Grohl cited John Bonham as his greatest influence, and eventually had Bonham's three-circle logo tattooed on his wrist. Mission Impossible later rebranded themselves Fast before breaking up, after which Grohl joined the post-punk-influenced hardcore punk band Dain Bramage.
After this, Dave started playing drums on Nirvana, but then Kurt Cobain died and after a while he started playing guitar and singing on Foo Fighters.
I admire Dave Grohl because of the music he makes, sometimes listening to it cheers me up. But most important, I admire Dave because of the cool person he is. Even with strangers Dave is funny and he is really cool. He is also a good person, he is married and has 1 daughter. He plays the guitar, drums, bass, and the piano

'Join me' is a kind of club that Danny Wallace began when he was boredIs about the thinking of people, when someone needs help. For example, when someone needs help, a part of you wants to help, but a trained part makes you stay neutral and ignore the problem.'Join me', has about 3.000 members around the world, that collaborate anonymously. They do an act of kindness every friday. The people from Join Me does "hit & run kindness". Make a good act like buy a cup of coffee to someone you have never met, and just go away.Join Me is a form to ignore the social barrier, to do something kind to someone without knowing him, to help without being called. That's the point of that "game". The others don't know you are helping or who helped.

The party last Saturday was incredible, the food was great, great music too, and lots of cool people.
Anyway, guess what happened to me on that party. I met an awesome girl. Her name is Jennifer and she is from the USA.
Apart from that, she was beautiful, intelligent and funny. She had black hair and piercing blue eyes. Just like the beautiful ocean in those movies. She isn’t too short or too tall, just average. And when she smiles at you, you get an incredible feeling.
But most important, she is really nice. She is also charming, and she is not a liar. And when she says nice things about you, she means them. She is also in a band, and I asked her if sometime she wanted to play with us, and she said that she’d love to.
The bad news is that she is going back to USA, but she will probably come back.

When she cold her father she said:”hi dad, do you know where my computer is?” I need it to do my birthday invitations”.

And her father said:” no, I don’t know where it is. I’m in an office quote. I can’t talk now, see you at home.

Christina was in a panic attack and called her mom, and she said:”hi mom I’m very afraid, I’m thinking someone had stolen my computer, when I arrived home, I couldn’t find it”.

And her mother said: “Christina, I’m going now to home, I can’t speak now I’m driving, we speak at home.

Christina was very angry, and she wait for 10 minutes after that her parents entered and Christina said:” why you come so late?”

And her parents said her:” And with an enormous box they said: happy birthday!

And she opened and saw that there was a new computer.

Christina was very happy and she could do the invitations.

Sleeping 8 and if is possible more , can rest your body , for been active the next day. If you donde sleep 8 hs your brain and body didn't rest and the next day you will be very week. You can said that sleep is one of the most importante things you can do to help you brain and body .

With a gun in his hand, he was dead. She was terrified, first she cal the ambulance, then she revised all his house to si is someone was there , the ambulance was 1 hs late when they came Christina’s father was already dead. The police said he can only suicide.
Christina was a normal girl, he was 17 years old , she lived with his father , her mother died when she was a child .
After the police said that was a suicida she found a leter under his father bed it’s said : Dear Christina
Yeasterday some extrange pepol call me and said : if you don’t cooperate we will kill chirstina : I don’t now who werere them , but I will go and find it , if I don’t return I want you to said the police I suicide.
2 years later the police found those people and gave them the death penalty

3. Complete and correct the TEST MODULE 4, if you were absent, ask a classmate for the correct answers.
   
4. Complete the AACI MOCK EXAM we worked with yesterday and today. Pay special attention to those topics or areas you could not answer successfully.
   
5. Try this web page, with automatic correction. Choose the area you need to practise, for example: reported speech, passive voice, relative classes, infinitive/gerund, tenses, conditional, modals, etc. Choose level intermediate to start and upper-intermediate when you are ready to move forward. http://www.agendaweb.org/

My cousin is an imaginative person. He's always inventing storys, and imaginating complicated plans to do things like see T.V when his parents don't let him, or trying to justificate why he didn't have good marks.

My uncle is the most generous person i have ever seen in my life. He always gives me presents for my birthday. Also he takes me to see football matches. He is great.

My sister is a very imaginative person, she is always writing a story and the greatest thing is that the story is brilliant.

How will it be the life 50 years from now? I think that if we don’t contaminate our streets, or if we don’t do pollution, or also we don’t save energy, we will be destroying our planet. But we have all the responsibilities of what we do. So in my opinion we have to warn our planet, that it is means not to contaminate more.
i also think that people in all the world don’t take the necessary responsibilities and that is a big mistake. When we will stay in the year 2058, in my mind we probably recognize all big mistakes we did. But we will can’t do anything to repair what we did in the past. And the problem’s solution is not to contaminate more and save our planet.

OUR LIFE – 50 YEARS FROM NOW

Scientists warn that in addition to climate change, there are many other dangers that unless we act quickly could bring very serious consequences, such as the extinction of many animal species or lack of potable water or oil.

If our technology avans, within 50 years our planet will have suffered the following amazing technological changes.In 2046 nuclear fusion will have consolidated, in 2041 there will be a small town on the Moon, in 2036 we will have the first space elevator, in 2031 robots will be more intelligent than us, there will be fighting in 2026 between boxing androids, 2021 yogurts us count the jokes, in 2016 cars will be autopilot, in 2017 we can go on holiday to a hotel in orbit by 2011 robots will take care of our gardens, and next year the computer and processed more quickly than one person.

I want to be optimistic about the future, but if we don’t help It’s impossible.
I hope that in 50 years from now there won’t be more wars either starvation.
One of my wishes for the future is to have cures for all diseases and that and there is no more terrorist or attacks.

If we clean the water of the oceans, if we don’t cut any more the trees, if we care for animals into extinction and scientist found new fuels that do not pollute the enviroment, 50 years’ time the world will be a place will love to live.

OUR LIVES, 50 YEARS FROM NOW
Everyday we hear on TV and magazines what is happening with our planet. Many of the world resources are running out and the temperatures of the sea are going up. But, why? We are destroying our planet. So, we could be positive and think about peace instead of war.
We can stop polluting our planet, stop the war, and destroy the weapons.
We need to work together and find solutions to problems. Humans are very intelligent so, why can’t we think about solutions? We could invent so many machines to clean the sea. So, by the year 2050, be could live in a peaceful place where the sea and the atmosphere is not polluted. Green places and new cities will be built. And there won’t be differences between people.
I wish we could think positive, and if we help our world by the year 2050 we will be living happily without global warming.

What will happen 50 years from now? Are the things said on the television true? We will all die because of starvation? People is trying to make us believe the future will be gloomy, but this shouldn’t happen if we don’t continue exploding natural resources or fouling up the environment.
Man, had done incredible things, so why we should die if we have our brilliant brain? People in the past probably though there will be no life nowadays, but see us now! We are all alive, with food and also with trillions inventions that are created every single day.
By the year 2058 the world will be a peaceful place to live. With all the new inventions there won’t be air pollution or stuff like that. Green places will cover the city and there won’t be more endangered species. Also, water will be cleaned and war between countries won’t exist.
I am absolutely sure that in 50 years’ time from now the world will be an amazing place to live.

Geneorous and imaginative

A friend of mine, Alberto, is very geneorous. He is always lending things at any moment, and he is so sympathetic that he doesn't pressure us to give him back his things. He helps strangers, too! Once he bought something for him that he liked a lot, but a poor child asked for money or something to eat, and he gave him what he had bought. He is a very person and an example for all the people!

My cousin Alex is 3 years old and he is a very imaginative person. He is always inventing things, but in a very funny way! Once he saw the movie "Buzz Lightyear", and from that moment, he is always telling us that he is an alien that comes from the space and has to return home.

A friend and my cousin

Generous: my best friend is the most generous person I've ever known. It doesn't matter who borrows her things, because she always is going to lend her staff to everyone who needs it. I can't believe how she stands seeing all the class with her things, playing with the ruler as a sword, throwing her pencils... One day a boy broke her favourite pen. Everybody (including me) thought she was going to get very furious, but, instead, she asked him to buy her a new one. What's more, she stills lends him her staff.
Imaginative: to be honest, I 'm not sure if my cousin Lucila, "Lulifer" or "Terminator" is imaginative or crazy. She's always with these strange and anormal ideas. For example, we were in my grandma's house once, and my aunt found a snail. Luli started designing a really strange home for the poor animal, imaging the snail's sons and daughter and even "his wife". He has those particular thoughts of her, like the time she thought the ringbell was going to kill her...

An imaginative person is someone who has a lot of imagination, what means that he or she thinks a lot and has a lot of ideas. Imaginative people is usually very intelectual and bubbly, and like art. However, an imaginative person is scatty and absent-minded, 'lives in the moon'.

Writing Unit 3
Horse riding

Horse riding it´s an original and different sport. It´s practise in the sand or in the grass, and there are often competitions.
This sport is a good way to get on with animals (horses.) It´s sometimes recomended to sick people to open their mind and it also helps people thinking how to solve their problems. Horse riding is a good option to families who want to share something because it might be practise by everyone, since very little children to grandmother or grandfather.
However there are negative points too. It´s a dangerous aport, although you wear a helmet. You can fell down of the horse and have an injurie. Moreover it´s an expensive sport and you can only practise it in some special places.
I think it´s important to relax and don´t be scared because in that case you could produce an accident and you couldn´t enjoy this beautiful sport.

Overweight-Jery Dabbah 2ºp

The overweight, or obesity is a terrible disease, and it is growing up. This disease consists in eating a lot, but no fruits or vegetables, instead of that, they eat very bad. When you have overweight, for example, you cannot go to a rollercoaster, because it can brings you a heart attack To protect yourself about getting this bad abbit of eating bad, you have to eat more fruits and vegetables and less meat,snacks, salt, candies,chips, etc. You also have to do sports.

Volleyball

Volleyball is not as popular sport as football, tennis or basketball,but it’s a very good sport too.
Volleybal is such a good sport like others, but most of the men think that it is more for women, because majorty of the volleyball championships are played by they, but it’s not like that. It makes you feel very good because ou have to run and jump a lot, so you make a lot of excecise. It is also a very team-mate sport.
But there is a negative side of volleybal. You always have to be very attentive and know where is the ball going to fall down. The most difficult thing of this great sport is the way you have to hit the ball, but, with practice, everything is obteined!. Also, when you play, you can have a lot of injuries, mostly in the legs.
To finish, i think that volleyball is one of the bests sports. It brings people togehter and its not agressive at all (the players cant hurt each other and commit faults, they are divided by a net). It is great!.

To have a happy life you have to have a healthy life, this includes, have a balance diet, do exercises every day, don’t stay in front of the computer ours and ours because is bad for your eyes and for your column.

Volleyball is not as popular as football, soccer or basketball, but there are many people that watch it and sometimes play it.

It is not an agressive sport, because no one fight with other player, only the fans can fight with other fans.


The only negative point is when the players recieve a hard ball, and they can break something of their hand or other part of the body.

Care yourself is important beacuse if you dont care yourself doing incredibly dangerous things, you will probably ill and sometimes can even kill you. You have to work in what you like and want because if you dont like your job, you can be bad or stessed.

The stress ruins your life

The stress is a mental desease. This means that you are over charged of information( like a computer ) so you need to rest a little. Many people have stress, so my tip is: Have a holiday!

I think that for a happy life you have to be near the people you love, to be wealthy , to no smoke, to no consume drougs, to do sports , respect the laws and to go to medical controls to be followed.

I can´t find my head.

A minute after Cristina had entered the room, she knew something was wrong. The dress was in the same place she had left it, but Cristina was very supersticious and a month ago she had broken a mirror so she thought that something could happen to her new dress. Cristina was 28, she was a lawyer.
The next day Cristina woke up at 6.00 AM, she had an important meeting. She took a shower. Then she tried on the dress many times and a few minutes later she had breakfast. After that, she was ready to put the dress on, but she didn´t find it. She had tried it on so many times that she didn´t remember where had she left it. She decided to call her best friends to help her. When they arrived they started to laugh. Later, they stopped laughing and said:
“We can´t believe you are so stupid!” You are wearing the dress!
Oh, no! Cristina told them. “I can´t be so silly! And now, is too late!
Well, we can take you to the meeting if you want.
And they didn´t waste time, 5 minutes later Cristina was in the meeting with her beautiful dress on.

I think that practice sports are very well and
important for your life because is good to your
body and you can lose might and you can keep
fit.
In your body you have one respiratory system,
If you smoke away your breathing is going to damage .
over time, as well as its component bodies and others. So
don't somke!

Friends, food and exercise, the three most important things

Have friends is very important to improve your life. To have friends you must help them and spent time with them and do all types of things you can imagine (excepted something dangerous) you make them laugh a lot because that is important to your life.
You must be so carefully whit the food because if don’t you will be weak or you can die. To eat no more than 2100 calories can prejudice you because you became fat. You must eat lots of proteins and vitamins to be sane and strong. If you do this you are on your way.
Do exercise is the most important thing. You must do exercise two times a week as minim. You can go to the gym or do exercise as a more funny form doing sport. Tennis, football, basketball, swim and golf are the best sports to practice. Yes, it’s true, doing golf help you a lot because you are all the day in contact whit the nature and who walk more 20km per game.
